Hand-thrown stoneware chawan shaped on the wheel and transformed by wood fire.
Layers of drifting ash glaze flow in soft blue-greys and warm browns, leaving behind gentle, wave-like ridges and subtle crackle — each side tells a different story of flame and smoke.
The uneven rim and raw, tactile surface invite slow, mindful sips of matcha or tea.
A small vessel full of quiet movement and natural imperfection.
Approx. 11cm x 9.5cm (diameter x height) (see photos for exact scale) and with capacity of 600ml.
Food-safe, microwave & dishwasher safe (gentle cycle recommended)
